 Building Strong Families:Honoring My Parents
Exodus 20:12

WHAT WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND:
1. There are no perfect parents.
2. Respect for authority begins at home.
3. How you relate to yourparents will impact every other relationship.
WHAT WE SHOULD DO:
1. God says we need to obey our mother and father.
2. God says we need to honor our mother and father.
Honor means - heavy, or weighty.
A. Honor them when they grow older.
B. Honor them by meeting their needs.
C. Honor them by forgiving them.
WHAT COULD YOU DO THIS WEEK TO HONOR YOUR PARENTS?
