The Discovery Church story started in the fall of 2006 when Brian Chandler sensed a call from God to start a new contemporary church in the city of Vacaville, California. Brian then began forming a launch team which consisted of a small group of families who felt called by God to help start this new work. Discovery launced its first church service on April 8th, 2007 at Vaca Pena Middle School. Since that time God has blessed us and we have grown in number. Not long ago God did an amazing work and made it possible for us to pruchase our first church worship building where we are presently meeting at 730 E. Main Street in downtown Vacaville. This new facility has given us office space, allowed us to expand and start many new ministries to meet the growing needs of our church family.
