 AREAS OF SERVICE |
We believe God wants every person to have a ministry in order to serve the Lord and
give back in some way. Below is a list of areas we need people to help in. If you are interested please call us at
707-410-7515 or click on the link to the email of the person responsible for that ministry.
Nursery and Discovery Kidz: Our ministry for newborns through gradeschool. Please email our Children's Director. We need teachers
and tech/sound volunteers to help serve in our Sunday morning children's ministry.
Youth Ministry Team: Our ministry for youth and families. Please email our Interim Director of Student Ministries.
Worship Team: Our ministry to lead worship for our Celebration Services. If you are interested in being part of our worship team please
email our Worship Leader.
Set-Up Team: Our ministry to prepare the school for our Celebration Service. A servant's heart along with a strong back is needed to load
and unload the equipment each week from our truck. Please email the Set-Up Team.
Multi-Media: Our ministry of videoing the service and preparing the presentation using MediaShout for the Celebration Service. If you would like to run a video
camera or use a computer please email our Media Team. We are willing to train you to use these mediums.
Prayer Team: Our ministry to engulf everything we do in prayer. If you are a prayer warrior and have a desire to join others in praying for the Discovery Church
please email the Prayer Team
Welcoming Team: Our ministry to make all those who come to celebrate with us each Sunday feel welcome in the Lord. If you love people and have a heart to make
others feel welcomed email the First Impressions Team.
Homeless Ministry: Our ministry to the homeless in Vacaville. We meet each Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Andrews Park to feed and pray with those
who need encouragement in our community. Join us each Wednesday rain or shine. Please email the Homeless Ministry Team if you
have questions and/or want to serve in this area.
