We belive God calls all believers to give financially to help support the local church miniistry and all of it's programs. We give back a portion of what God has graciously and freely blessed us with to show a deep appreciation for all He has given us. Matter of fact, in the Bible, it tells us to give like He gives. How has God given to us? He has given us everything. He has given us life, He has forgiven our sins, He has given us eterlnal life, and He gives us hope for the future.

In order to have a strong and healthy church body, people must be committed to giving to the church. All of the monies received, go to help pay our building payment and related costs, our staff, materials for our youth and children's ministries, bible study materials, media costs, missions out reach, as well as many other programs. This money goes to help us run effective ministries that make a difference in peoples lives.

The Bible talks about two ways to give. A tithe and an offering. A tithe, means a tenth and refers to the first ten percent of all our income. The Bible tells us the tithe belongs to God and we should regularly and systematically set aside the first part to give to Him. Scripture is very clear that God loves it when we cheerfully give to Him and the promise is when we give to God, He will bless us and take care of all our needs.

The offering, sometimes referred to as sacrificial giving, is a special gift, given over and above your tithe. This is wnen you might make a special gift to a missionary or missions offering or a Christian para church ministry to help support what they are doing for the Lord.
