At the Discovery Church, we believe in the Great Commission that believers are to go into all the world and share the gospel of Christ with those who do not know the Lord yet. Many believe that we are to be involved in mission activities in foreigh lands and that is true, but a big part of God's plan for us is to see Vacaville and the surrounding area as a mission field as well. Matter of fact, according to Acts 1:8, it should start here first for us and then move out into other parts of the country and our world taking the light of Christs savation to everyone.

We give our financial support to those who go to the mission field. We ecourage members to participate in missions and ministry activities here in Vacaville and in other countries as well. Wh have a monthly homeless ministry where we provide meals for the homeless as well as share God's word with them. Our yourth go on summer missin trips. Last year they went to Trail, Oregon. Plans are being made for a family missions trip to another country. We as a church will do all we can to inform, educate, train and empower members to actively participate in missions opportunities.
